Amy was born and raised in Saskatchewan and attended the University of Saskatchewan where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce. She obtained her CA in 2005 and after working for large and small public accounting firms in Alberta, she relocated with her husband and son to Nova Scotia. They have since added a daughter and a dog to their household in Westphal.

Amy joined the firm in October of 2010 where her focus is performing audit and review engagements for corporations and not-for-profit groups, corporate taxation, professional accounting and auditing standards research and staff training.
